Michael Kusz is a sculptor bases in Reeth whose creative imagination, supported by his broad technical abilities, and confident use of an extensive range of materials, is liberated to find free expression for his aesthetics.

He is looking to express strength and elegance in natural forms with an uplifting and joyous edge.

He is currently working with scrap metals, using silver-smithing methods and a self taught mig-welding technique to create small batches of unique and numbered individual works.

Inspired by the extraordinary variety of textures and patinas exhibited by old copper, he has evolved individual often humorous sculptures of animals, insects, birds and mythological beasts.
